Cleethorpes Country Park is great for walks and has a purpose built dog swimming pool area, only 15 min walk away 

Antony s Bank runs at the back of the chalet and runs to the Yacht club and beach area and a  3 mile  walk extends to  Tetney Lock and Tetney village  (great dog friendly pub )

Cleethorpes Leisure Centre, Parkway Cinema, Bowling complex and Boating Lake are within 5 mins drive.

A quiet dog-friendly beach, available all year round is only a 2 minute walk from the property. Cleethorpes Yacht Club, with nearby sand dunes, and a bridleway with walks to Tetney is - ideal for dogs and walkers -and  is only a 5 minute walk away. The busier seaside resort of Cleethorpes is 3 miles away.There  is a coastal path from the chalet park to Cleethorpes 

An abundance of good local restaurants – Some fine dining ( , Figs, Valeries, Marples , ), some "value for money" fish and chip restaurants (Steels, Papa s Ocean Fish Bar), carveries and mid range pubs  (Coachhouse /Trawlerman/  Punchbowl/  Fez /  ). Lots of local takeaways, - Details and telephone numbers in a file in the chalet.  

Grimsby Town Centrre with Freshney Place shopping Mall and local eateries cafes pubs is 4 miles away and houses several retail parks including the popular Fishing Heritage Mueseum

Situated close to the Lincolnshire Wolds with historical towns such as Louth (16 miles), Lincoln (30 miles), Market Rasen (with racecourse), Tealby, Caistor and the busier traditional coastal resorts such as Skegness (with a seal sanctuary), Mablethorpe and across the Humber Bridge  Hull, Beverley, Bridlington, York and Scarborough.
